San Mateo Pony Baseball COVID-19 Practice and Games Measures
San Mateo County Baseballs Requirements:
While within their stable group, children and caregivers/coaches may share baseball, from County of San Mateo website. Although this allows the sharing of baseballs, we still recommend not sharing any other baseball equipment including catchers gear. We will still provide sanitizer for teams to clean equipment including balls.
- Temperature taken at practices and games of all players, coaches, and umpires.
- Participants screen for illnesses.
- Summer Season limited to 12 registered players. ##City ordinance compliance##
- Individual owned players Team Face Masks provided.
- If player forgets assigned mask then disposable provided.
- Only four players allowed in dugout. Ensure social distancing. Remainder players spread out on field sidelines.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers in dugouts and public areas.
- No sharing of baseball equipment except team bats.
- Team bats will be wiped down by coaches in-between player usage.
- Baseballs use monitored, regularly disinfected and replaced.
- Catchers to squat six feet behind batters.
- No home plate umpires.
